Our programs offer opportunities to learn, move, and thrive together beyond classroom walls while developing essential life skills. THE ROLE
As a Director of District Partnerships, you play a critical role in driving sales, generating revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with school districts within your region by prospecting new and growing existing partnerships. This role works within the Sales department directly reporting to the Vice President of Sales.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, build, and maintain strategic partnerships with school districts to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders such as superintendents, program directors, and other district leaders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the district administrator and advise on service offerings that would meet their school's needs and continue to provide ongoing customer service.
  • Proactively engage with clients to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products and services.
  • Build quotes and negotiate with school districts to secure mutually beneficial terms and conditions such as partnership agreements, contracts, and other necessary documents.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, HubSpot, and sales tools to manage customer interactions and track sales activities.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments internally to ensure program alignment that meets the needs of our district partners.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand the unique challenges, priorities, and goals of school districts, ensuring alignment with our organization's products and services.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape within the K-12 education sector.
  • Analyze data and provide insight to inform strategic decision-making and partnership development.
  • Actively network with potential clients, industry professionals, and key stakeholders by attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote Elevo's products or services.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales within the K-12 education industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of the K-12 education industry including current trends, challenges, and best practices.
  • Familiar with curriculum development, educational technology, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Travel, occasionally overnight, for in-person meetings and events, which are primarily located in Southern California or Sacramento.

  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop innovative approaches to partnership development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations, negotiate contracts, and communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Positive, confident, assertive, and self-starter mindset.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive insights from data to inform decision-making and measure partnership effectiveness.
  • Familiar with HubSpot and intermediate G-Suite experience.
  • Flexible and adapts during times of ambiguity and change.

The target annual base pay range for this position is $100,000-$120,000. Final pay determinations may depend on various factors including, but not limited to, experience level, education, geographical location, knowledge, and skills.
